A company is asking me for AI Consulting. This will be my first time. I have no idea how it will even work. (If by any chance you have any tips or materials that could help me and would like to share, it would be nice).
Sorry I have been away for about a month. Some tips in case it's not too late or for next time:
1) to close them, do a two-step (and two-call) process. In the first call learn about all their needs and get them to agree to a proposal call. Write up how you're going to deliver solutions to all their needs in a document (the proposal) and present it in the second call. At the end of this document, after a place where the deliverables are clearly listed, should be a section called "Investment" where you list the price. When you get to that part of the presentation (basically just reading off the proposal) calmly state the price and let them respond to it. Maybe add a satisfaction-or-your-money-back guarantee if it's your first time to reduce risk for them.
2) Give yourself more than enough time to do the project (expect things to go wrong), and charge above what you're comfortable charging
I don't know what AI advice to give because I don't know many details of what they're asking for, if you could provide more detail I might be able to help?

Thanks a lot. It'll be useful next time.
(It's going well so far, will share more later)
